📡 Two Way Chat via LoRa device with ESP8266
We have used NodeMCU ESP8266 Microcontroller which is cheapest. You may also use ESP32 modules.

We would need the below equipments (with purchase links, you may also Google with given name)
- LoRa-02 SX1278 : From Robu / From RoboCraze
- Node MCU ESP8266 : From Robu / From RoboCraze

433MHz Antenna:
- UFL/IPEX type small Antenna from RoboCraze
- SMA type Antenna for better range from Robu and you will need one SMA to IPEX/U.FL connector extra
- Female to Female Jumper Wires from Robu
- Micro USB Data Cable
- A computer with USB port
Important Requirements

Install Arduino IDE 1.8.x from here and configure the preferances. You need to put
https://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.jsonin preference window. -
Install below modules:

Download and configure the ESP8266 Data Upload tool from here

Connect your LoRa-02 SX1278 with ESP8266 with below diagram

- Connect your ESP8266 with your computer and upload the data folder using the Upload Tool.
- Upload the respective programs in two different baords.
- Power the two devices up using 5v micro USB power. You can use mobile charger or power bank. This are low power devices, it can last long even on battery power.
- Connect with NodeMCU1 & NodeMCU2 WiFi SSIDs from two different devices using mobile / laptop or computer.

Then open browser and type in
192.168.4.1. Then simply chat with other device.
